On a cool, blustery November Sunday, almost a dozen RCYers
showed up at Tunnel #1 on Kanan Road for a glorious day of single-track riding. The sun filtered
through the green vegetation, speckled light guiding us thru the twisty hard-packed Backbone Trail.
Distant views of the sun shining off the azure Pacific added to the visual delight of the crystal
clear day.
We followed our usual easterly route, up and over The Tunnel,
past Latigo Canyon Road to the Corral Canyon parking lot, giving us 6 1/2 miles of single-track to
our turnaround point.

Although a few riders took some slight variations heading back,
the majority climbed the fireroad back up to the top of Bulldog and then headed back down to catch
the bulk of the singletrack back to the cars. A few action pictures:
 
 
 
After the ride, several of us went out for refueling at one of
our favorite eateries.
